Privacy Policy
What personal data More Sell processes, why, on what basis and the rights available to you.
1. Controller
More Sell is the controller for personal data processed to run More Sell. Contact: privacy@pohotnik.com. Operator details appear below.
2. Data categories
Account and profile data include name, email, verification status, a strong password hash, language, optional phone/WhatsApp, preferences and connected OAuth-provider details.
Service data include listings, images, attributes and location, saved searches, favourites, messages, reports, moderation decisions and notifications. Precise device location is used only after your click and explicit save; IP location is not used for nearby search.
Technical data include IP address, user agent, sessions, security logs, timestamps and hashed evidence of cookie choices. Open IP addresses are not kept in the consent log.
Monetization data include internal-credit balance, plan and expiry, credit and subscription history, and an administrator reason for an adjustment. These records support plan performance, prevention of duplicate debits, audit and dispute handling.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Contract performance covers registration, login, listings, search, messaging, matching, notifications, export and deletion. Legitimate interests cover security, anti-spam, fraud prevention, moderation, diagnostics and legal protection after balancing against your rights.
Legal obligation applies to binding authority requests and GDPR/DSA duties. Consent is used for optional marketing, precise device geolocation and optional cookies and may be withdrawn without affecting earlier lawful processing.
4. Recipients
Only authorised personnel and necessary hosting, database, email, security and OAuth providers receive relevant data. Listings are public; private contact details are not published automatically. Conversation participants see messages and the other party’s public name.
The place catalog is based on GeoNames data. OpenStreetMap loads only after you open the map; its provider then receives standard connection data including the IP address. No external GeoIP service is called.
Disclosure to authorities or third parties occurs only with a legal basis, to protect rights and safety, or at your direction. We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Where a provider processes outside the EEA, an adequacy decision, EU Standard Contractual Clauses and necessary supplementary safeguards are used. Details may be requested at privacy@pohotnik.com.
6. Retention
Account and profile data remain while the account is active. On deletion, direct identifiers, public content, OAuth tokens and images are erased or de-identified without undue delay. Isolated backups, if used, are taken out of normal use and overwritten within 90 days.
Messages, reports, sanctions and logs may be retained minimally for security, contract performance or legal claims. The normal target for technical logs is up to 12 months; legal consent evidence up to 5 years or the applicable claim period. Anonymous statistics may be kept indefinitely.
7. Automated tools
Anti-spam and risk tools analyse frequency, text similarity and other signals for review. Search ranking and matches are algorithmic. We do not rely solely on an automated decision producing legal or similarly significant effects without accessible human review.
8. Security
Controls include access restriction, password hashing, CSRF protection, rate limits, private upload storage, action logs and backups. No system is absolutely secure; legally required incident notices will be sent within applicable deadlines.
9. Your rights
You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, withdraw consent and complain to a supervisory authority. Automated JSON export and account deletion are available in the account. We normally respond within one month; a complex request may be extended by two months with notice.
Erasure is not absolute: minimum information may remain for legal obligations, freedom of expression, public interest or the establishment and defence of legal claims. We explain any refusal or restriction.
10. Children, changes and complaints
More Sell is for adults and does not knowingly register children. Credible notices about a minor’s data are investigated and acted on.
Material policy changes are communicated clearly. Contact privacy@pohotnik.com or complain to Latvia’s Datu valsts inspekcija or the authority where you live, work or where an alleged infringement occurred.
